These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of KGM Mail (“the App”), which is developed and maintained by KGM Engineering (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the App immediately.
The App allows you, the user, to take photos and record voice messages (upload files). These upload files may be shared with us through the App via the following methods:
Since all uploads and emails are handled through a Google Account or a Microsoft Account which you link to the App, you maintain full ownership and control over your content.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload or send does not violate any laws, infringe intellectual property rights, or contain harmful or offensive material.
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy which explains how we handle personal information.
When you link a Google Account to the App, the App uses a Google Application Programming Interface (API) service to upload files (photos and/or voice messages) to a folder within a Google Drive of the Google Account. You may choose the name of the folder. If the folder does not exist, the App will create the folder in the Google Drive. If the folder already exists, the App will access and upload the files to the folder in the Google Drive.
After uploading all the upload files, the App will automatically share the folder only with a KGM Engineering Google Account. The KGM Engineering Google Account allows us to review the uploaded files solely for the purpose of providing the app’s intended service (e.g., feedback, analysis, or support). No further use or redistribution occurs.
The App does not modify or delete any files in the Google Drive. Its only function is to upload new files to a user specified folder and adjust sharing permissions for the user specified folder to grant access to the KGM Engineering Google Account.
The App integrates with Microsoft Outlook using a Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL). MSAL allows you to sign in to an Outlook Account to send upload files (photos and/or voice messages) via Outlook email directly from the App.
Once connected to the Outlook Account, the App may:
The App does not read incoming emails, access your contacts, view your inbox, or interact with any other Outlook data. All actions occur through Microsoft’s secure API and are governed by Microsoft’s own service terms and privacy policy.

All photos, voice messages, and other content you create or upload through the App remain your property. KGM Engineering does not claim ownership of any user-generated content. All Google Drive uploads occur within your own Google Account, and all emails occur within your own Microsoft or Apple accounts. KGM Engineering does not store or retain any of your Google, Microsoft, or Apple Account data on any servers.
You are responsible for managing your Google Account and Microsoft permissions, including the ability to revoke access, delete shared content, or remove drafts created by the App.
The App requires Microsoft and Google permissions to operate correctly. Google Account permissions are required to create a folder and upload files as described above. Microsoft Account permissions are required to create, modify, delete, or send email drafts as described above. The App does not access, view, or modify any unrelated data in your Microsoft or Google Accounts and never sends emails or uploads files without user interaction.
Use of the App is also subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
KGM Engineering is not responsible for any data loss, unauthorized access, or issues arising from your use of Google Drive or Microsoft Outlook. You acknowledge that the security and functionality of these services are managed by Google and Microsoft, respectively, and subject to their own terms and conditions.
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices or service updates. We do not guarantee that the App or its integrations with third-party services will always be available or operate without interruption, and we may modify or suspend the App at any time.
We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be reflected in the most recent version posted on this page with an updated effective date. Significant updates may be communicated within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App following an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if we believe you have violated these Terms, used the App for unlawful purposes, or caused harm to others, to us, or to third-party services such as Google or Microsoft.
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
